Roy Wilson Williams, 84, Indian Mound, TN, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at the VA Hospital, Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Roy Goodmiller officiating. Burial will be in the Harvey Cemetery, Cunningham, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born September 10, 1926 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Robert and Ethel Mae Brown Williams. Mr. Williams was a Church of Christ Minister for over fifty years and a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Stephen Williams, five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Blanch Schmittou Williams, Indian Mound; sons, Jimmie Williams, Manchester, TN, Richard Williams, Mt. Juliet, TN; daughters, Cindy Mallory, Allensville, KY, Debbie Atkins, Dover, TN; brothers, Don Williams, Erin, TN, Kenneth Williams, Clarksville, TN; sister, Betty Gordon, Clarksville, TN; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
