Rosa Wallace

Mrs. Rosa Passalacqua Wallace, age 83 of Indian Mound, TN, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born April 24, 1937, in Tripoli, Libya, Africa, daughter of the late Cosimo and Giacoma Accardo Passalacqua. Rosa’s home and table were always open to family and friends, where she served her fine Italian meals. She was a charter member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Dover, TN.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert Wallace, son, Anthony Wallace, brothers, Guiseppe Passalacqua and Antonio Passalacqua, and sister, Lina Passalacqua.

She is survived by her loving children, Donna Gillum (Darrell), Erika Bowers (Chris), both of Indian Mound and Mario Cuan (Carla), of Mexico, an exchange student who became family, sisters, Maria Passalacqua Chiaramonte, Rome, Italy, Franca Passalacqua Roberts, Chicago, IL, grandchildren, Derik Gillum, (Christine), Devin Gillum (Aneesa), Krista Allen (Ben), Anthony Grizzard, and Dylan Bowers (Deanna), great grandchildren, Emma Gillum, Kaylee Gillum, Garrett Gillum, Amira Gillum, Aiden Gillum, Anniston Grizzard, and Avery Bowers.

Private services will be held with Reverend Davis Chackaleckel, MSFS officiating. Mrs. Wallace will be laid to rest at Ft. Donelson National Cemetery with her husband and son. Pallbearers will be Derik Gillum, Devin Gillum, Darrell Gillum, Ben Allen, Chris Bowers, Anthony Grizzard, Dylan Bowers, and Mario Cuan.
