Mr. Roger Dale Outlaw (fondly known as Dale), age 81, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on July 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Dale was born in Stewart County on April 22, 1944, the son of the late Bill and Nellie Lee Outlaw. A hardworking man and devoted provider, Dale dedicated his career to working as an auto mechanic and log truck driver. He was known for his deep love for his family and his appreciation of the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, spending time in nature, coaching peewee baseball and watching a good football game.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Mathis and Henrietta Wofford.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Linda Outlaw; his sons, Tim Outlaw (Sharon) and Jeff Outlaw (Judy); grandchildren, Brittany Brock (Kenny), Taylor Outlaw, Abby Outlaw, and Carlee Outlaw; and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Virginia Crain (Wayne), Danny Outlaw (Louise), Betty Crosby (Tim) and a host of nieces and nephews. His family always brought him great joy.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., with Tim Outlaw and Bro. Brian Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Mathis, Ray Wofford, Nick Crosby, Brian Crain, Charles Lee, and Nathan Dennis.
Dale will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
