Roger Holland

Roger Dale Holland, Sr., affectionately known as “Willie,” age 69, of Dover, TN passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

Roger was born on October 6, 1955, in LaRochelle, France, the son of the late Sidney Elbert and Levie Hopkins Holland. A dedicated and hardworking man, Roger spent his career in the lumber industry and was known for being a strong provider for his family.

Family was at the heart of everything he did. He found joy in spending time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories through simple moments together. Roger faced countless trials throughout his life, but he rose above them each time as a survivor, setting the example for his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Holland (wife Mary) and sister-in-law, Shirley M. Holland.

Roger is survived by his children, Roger Dale Holland, Jr., James Sidney Holland, and Emily Cook; his brothers, Jimmy Holland (Patsy), Dennis Holland (Debbie), and Curtis Holland; his sister, Patricia Holland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
