Robert Wright

Robert Franklin Wright, 88, Bumpus Mills, TN passed away at his home, Monday, July 18, 2011. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. Terry Welsh officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN. Burial will be in the Carr Cemetery, Ft. Campbell, KY. Mr. Wright was born on October 12, 1922 to Walter and Lily Francis Wright. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of World War II, a retired farmer, and school bus driver. He was also a member of the Brandon's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Ruth Griffin Wright, son, Neil (Annette) Wright, Bumpus Mills, daughter, Diane Wright, Franklin, TN, grandchildren, Amy Wright Slone, Cadiz, KY, Brian Wright, Bumpus Mills, and four great grand children. Pallbearers will be Brian Wright, Brandon Slone, Gary Wallace, Hulan Pryor, Bobby Gillum, and Tom Howell. In lieu of memorials donations may be made to Carr Cemetery, at F&M Bank.
