Robert Gainer

Robert Eugene Gainer died at his home on January 14, 2012. Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Married for 49 years, he is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Jennifer Donner, CA, son Richard Gainer, CA, daughter, Irene Jeffreys, TN, daughter Linda Hillberg, OR, son Paul Gainer, CA, 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bob was a Nabisco salesman for 38 years and an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Anyone who knew him was aware of his gift of storytelling and terrific sense of humor. He was an amazing husband, father, and friend who started the Gainer family legacy through his love and dedication. Pallbearers will be Paul Gainer, William Jeffreys, Erik Jeffreys, Scott Hillberg, Joe McElroy, and J.D. Drinnon.
