Robert Bowers

Robert Dale Bowers, age 64 of Big Rock, TN passed away on October 16, 2023 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 19, 1959 in Stewart County, TN the beloved son of the late Robert Nelson Bowers and Ora Mae Fitzhugh Anderson. Robert was of the Baptist faith. He was a hard worker and provider for his family. He retired as a laborer from Herbert Keatts Sawmill. Robert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially sharing memories with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Donald Bowers.

He is survived by his children, Randy Bowers of Clarksville, TN and Misty Waynick (Josh) of Indian Mound, TN and 7 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10:00 am at Mt. View Cemetery.
