Rita Mcgee

Mrs. Rita Faye McGee, age 71, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare Clarksville. She was born, April 8, 1949 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Harold and Charlene Threatt Atkins. Mrs. McGee graduated from Stewart County High School Class of 1966. Rita was a homemaker and a member of the Wyatts Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Atkins, and sisters, Mildred Tucker and Carolyn Atkins. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, James ‘Jim’ McGee, son, Jamie McGee (Tisha), Big Rock, TN, daughters, Carrie Hendrick (Robbie), Big Rock, TN, Candice Jones (Bradley), Dover, TN, grandchildren, Katie McGee, Ally Shemwell, Ryleigh Hendrick, Ally Jones, Edie Jones, and Lane Jones.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Hall Cemetery with Bro. Roy Arms officiating.
