Rita Faye Hammonds, 51 of Springfield, TN passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Spain officiating. Burial will follow in Dunbar Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 10:30 am until the hour of service.
She was born August 17, 1964 in Montgomery Co., TN the daughter of Samuel Eugene and Betty Burkhart Turner. Mrs. Hammonds worked in shipping and receiving. She is preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother of Indian Mound, TN, husband, Kenneth Hammonds, Springfield, TN, daughter, Kasey Hammonds, Springfield, TN, brothers, Larry Turner, Dover, TN, Mickey Turner, Dover, TN, Marty Turner, Indian Mound, TN, Jeff Turner, Indian Mound, TN and sister, Brenda Smith, Indian Mound, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
