Ricky Taylor

Ricky Taylor, age 61 of Tennessee Ridge, TN passed away March 21, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1961 in Erin, TN the son of Marshall Baxter Taylor and Carrie Watts Gilmore. He was a taxidermist and worked in sales at Compton’s Auto Parts. Ricky was a graduate of Stewart County High School Class of 1979.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marshall Baxter Taylor, Sr. and granddaughter, Katie Frances Cooksey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Compton Taylor, mother, Carrie (Dale) Gilmore, son, Chuck Taylor of Tennessee Ridge, TN, daughter, Chassity Taylor of Erin, TN, brother, Marshall Taylor of Clarksville, TN, sister, Anita Duvall of Clarksville, TN, grandchildren, Taylor Manners, Haley Manners, Kensley Taylor, Lynsley Taylor, Riley Taylor and great grandchild, Roman Manners.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery, Dover, TN with Bro. William Gray officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
