Richard Mckinley

Richard L. McKinley, age 68 of Big Rock, passed away, Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center, Clarksville, TN. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. James Deason and Bro. Stephen Cathey to officiate. Burial will be in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00- 8:00 pm Monday, April 6, at the Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church and from 10:00 am until the time of service Tuesday. Church family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born June 16, 1946, son of the late Russell McKinley and Rose Wilkinson McKinley Blume. Mr. McKinley served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era, he was a member of the Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church, and the American Legion. He was also ministered for 20 yrs. at the Manor House of Dover.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Todd Michael McKinley and brother, Donald McKinley. Survivors include his loving wife, Gloria McKinley, Big Rock, brother, Harry McKinley, Orient, OH, and sister, Nancy Clayton, Dover.
