Richard Henry Adams, age 70, of Big Rock, TN, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Taylor Cemetery, Melton Springs Rd. Big Rock, TN, with Bro. Del Morgan to officiate. Visitation will be from 12 - 2 pm Tuesday at the Taylor's Chapel First Church of God. Military will serve as pallbearers.
He was born June 18, 1944, in Bolivar, TN, son of the late William Thomas and Lillian Sutton Adams. Mr. Adams was a 21 year retired US Army Veteran serving two tours in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Taylor Adams, Big Rock, sons, Jeffery Elliott, Dover, Danny Adams (Angela) Big Rock, daughters, Kimberly Allran, Big Rock, Tracy Adams Warner, Bumpus Mills, brother, Charles Adams, Memphis, TN, sister, Jennie Bell Bowers, TN Ridge, TN, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
