Paul Hayes, Jr.

Mr. Paul ‘Skip’ Hayes, Jr. age 66, of Big Rock, TN, passed away on November 17, 2025 at his home. He was born on May 4, 1959 in Covington, KY, the son of the late Paul Hayes and Bobbi Rose Hudson.

Paul, affectionately known as “The Legend” by his co-workers, was celebrated for his humor, his loyalty, and his generous heart. He was the kind of friend who could always be counted on and the kind of family man who embodied love in all he did. To those who knew him, he was the very best dad, brother, uncle, and friend anyone could ever hope for.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan McDaniel; and sisters, Leslie Combs and Robin Kinkaid.

He is survived by his children: Landon Hayes, Mike Hayes, Amber Hayes, Amie Hayes, and Alaina Armstrong; grandchildren: Daren McDaniel, Blaze McDaniel, Aniya Lee, Jaylee Armstrong, Lillan McCarty, Keirstian Hayes, Kylee Hayes, Justice Hayes, Elijah Hayes, John Hayes, and Brianna Hayes; great-grandchildren: Lias Skeen and Aries Hampton; sister, Tiffany Davenport; nephews, Adam Bartolino and Keyton Combs; and niece, Zoey Jackson.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and will continue until the time of service.
