Norman Compton, 68, Bumpus Mills, TN passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Trigg Co. Hospital, Cadiz, KY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Epperson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 4-8:00 pm and on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 11:00 am til the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born January 21, 1945 in Breckinridge Co., KY the son of Stanley and Pauline Smallwood Compton. Mr. Compton was a contractor. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Compton, brothers in law, Leo Clark and Terry Stribling, sister in law, Rithie Geary. Survivors include his mother of Zephr Hills, FL, wife, Joan Clark Compton, Bumpus Mills, TN, sons, Bobby Compton (Stephanie), Bumpus Mills, TN, Eric Compton (Cindy), Big Rock, TN, daughters, Becky Craig(Allen), Hodgenville, KY, Sandra Steele(Brim), Bumpus Mills, TN, Paula Raizor (Glenn), Cecilia, KY, brothers, Ronnie Compton(Gloria), Elizabethtown, KY, Dennis Compton, Zephyr Hills, FL, sisters, Linda Stopher(Gerald), Elizabethtown, KY, Connie Stribling, Cecilia, KY, brother and sister in laws, David and Goldie Clark, Russell Clark, Jane Thomas, Elizabeth Campbell and Gerald Geary, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Glenn Raizor, Tyler Raizor, Allen Craig, Brim Blackstock, Edward Ashabraner and John Goodman.
