Nona Harris

Mrs. Nona Everine Harris, age 85 of Dover, TN, passed away, Thursday, April 15, 2020 at home surrounded by family. She was born December 31, 1934 in Dover, to the late Allen 'Buck' Thomason and Lockey Fitzhugh Thomason. She married Odom 'Red' Harris on June 27, 1953.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Odom 'Red' Harris, granddaughter, Crystal Amy Harris, brothers, Milford Thomason, Freeman Thomason, and Donald Ray Thomason, sisters, Alene Robertson, Gatcie Parrish, Marjorie Wallace, Sallie Newman, and Maudie Doyle.
She is survived by her sons, Dale (Jackie) Harris of Granite City, IL and Lynn (Bertha) Harris of Dover, TN, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother, Gene Thomason, and sisters, Marcellia Doyle and Virginia Joiner.
Due to the restrictions on large gathers, private graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in remembrance of her granddaughter, Crystal Amy Harris.
