Nelson Luffman

Nelson Luffman, 77, Dover, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at his residence. Graveside services will be on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Cemetery with Russell Luffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born September 15, 1934 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Aurther and Opal Lyons Luffman. Mr. Luffman was retired from the Stewart Co. Highway Dept. and a member of First Baptist Church of Dover. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Luffman and Donald Hugh Luffman. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Fox Luffman, Dover; son, Anthony Luffman, Clarksville, TN; daughters, Sue Herndon, Dover, TN, Peggy Heflin, Erin, TN, Ginger Palasky, WI, and Betsy Brown, Dover, TN; brothers, Junior, Hubert, Clifton, Jerry, Larry Dale, Danny, Dotson Luffman, all of Dover, TN and Glenn Luffman, Woodlawn, TN; sister, Ruth Mae Nolin, Woodlawn, TN; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Stewart Co. Highway Dept. employees.
