Sadly, our beloved, Nancy O. Bogard, 82, of Palm Beach, FL, passed away on March 10, 2025, after a yearlong battle with illness. Nancy was born on September 7, 1942, in Stewart County, TN. She was a native of Indian Mound, TN. After graduating high school, Nancy went on to raise a family. While doing so as a single mother, she began her lifelong career working for various industries in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida as an accounting executive, where she reached the highest levels of her vocation until retiring to Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ewing and Elerna Mullins McGovern of Indian Mound, and her seven siblings.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Bogard of Hot Springs, AR, Jeff Bogard of Gallatin TN and her daughters Tammy Roberson (James) of Olive Branch, MS and Lisa Duvall (James) of North Palm Beach, FL. Nancy also leaves behind twelve grandchildren: T.J. Blackburn, John Mutters (Myesha), Brandon Bogard, Chad Mutters (Baylee), Kenneth Shelton, Brent Bogard, Dylan Gunter, Alex Duvall, Parker Duvall, Daniel Bogard, Adeline Duvall, Raegan Bogard, and seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
The family will join in a private service at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, TN.
Nancy was a strong and loving mother and matriarch of her family. She left a positive impact on each person with whom she interacted. She loved the Lord and was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene for many years. Nancy had a keen sense of humor. She always was loving and kind to her family as well as strangers. She was inspirational and full of Godly wisdom, ever joyful and always available to help her family and friends in their times of need. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
