Miles Burton

Mr. Miles Keith Burton, age 75 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born in St. Louis, MO on February 21, 1948 the beloved son of the late Miles O’Connor and Evelyn Russell Burton. Miles was a hard worker and provider for his family. He worked in construction in St. Louis until retirement. He loved fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years; Beverly Sue Farmer Burton, sisters; Evelyn Grubbs and Rosemary Brooks.

He is survived by his daughters; Michelle Burton of Clarksville, TN, and Heather Hinds (Scott) of St. Louis, MO, son; Christopher Burton (Melanie) of Clarksville, TN sisters; Carol Woolsey, Mary Hamilton, and Betty Pulley all of St. Louis, MO, brother; Richard Burton of TX, grandchildren; Hallee Remick, Keith Richardson, Layne Hinds, Miranda Lantz, Liam Burton, and Makaila Hegwood and 1 great-grandchild expected soon.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Tyson officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and continue until the hour of the funeral service. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
