Mildred Bruton

Mildred Bruton, age 93, of Dover, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Signature Health Care, Erin, TN. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at Fort Donelson United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Binford and Rev. Don Bailey to officiate, burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home. She was born March 5, 1920 in Stewart County, Tennessee daughter of the late Galen and Frances Guerin Phillips. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Bruton. Survivors include her children, Sondra Cherry, Dover, Charles Galen Bruton, Sr., Dover, and John Thomas Bruton, Victor, MT, sister, Georgia Wofford Lyons, Knoxville, TN, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Brady Wyatt, Robert Parker, Jeremy Parker, Frank Dill, Sammy Balthrop, George Sexton, and Andy Brigham. Honorary pallbearers will be George Williams, Robert Lee, James Clayton Brigham, Jean Atkins, Virginia Sexton, Clay Webb, and Don Cherry.
