Michael Ross

Michael ‘Mike’ Douglas Ross, age 70, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Tennova Hospital in Clarksville, TN. Born on April 21, 1954, he was the son of James D. and Gradye Mae Ralls Ross.

Mike had a deep passion for music; he was an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed singing with his band. He enjoyed golfing with his friends. Mike was proud to be a graduate of Stewart County High School and Austin Peay State University. A dedicated member of Pi Kappa Alpha. He enjoyed his time working as a member for Lineport Masonic Lodge #207 in Bumpus Mills, TN. Mike served the Lord faithfully at Taylor Chapel Church of God in Big Rock, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, James G. Ross, and his sister, Sheila Ross.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Savannah Hayward, son-in-law Jason Hayward, and his cherished grandchildren: Jocelyn Hall, Addie Mae Hayward, and Peyton Hayward, all of Clarksville, TN.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Taylor Chapel Church of God on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. A Masonic service will be held prior to the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Bro. Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor Chapel Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
