Michael Murphy

Michael LeRoy Murphy, 23, Dover, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Tony Daley officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Monday and from 10:00 am until the hour of service Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 10, 1986 in Auburn, NY, son of Robert and Theresa Forbes Murphy. Mr. Murphy worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Hopkinsville, KY. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Murphy, grandparents, Robert and Vivian Murphy, and LeRoy Forbes. He is survived by his mother, Theresa Murphy, maternal grandmother, Sarah Forbes, Weedsport, NY, sister, Jessica Murphy, Indian Mound, TN, stepbrother, Robert (Samantha) Murphy, DeRuyter, NY, nieces, Chloe and Maddie Murphy, and several aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be David Dalling Jr, Johnathan Ryan, Bruce Latta, Jay Clifton, Randy Bowers, Matthew Coombs, David Pankoke, and Patrick Ray. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stewart County Humane Society, 449 Red Top Rd. Indian Mound, TN 37079.
