Melanie Leigh McCormack Nelson, 49, St. Louis, MO, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at St. Louis University Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. She was born June 29, 1962 in Clarksville to Charlene and John William McCormack. Melanie was a wife and homemaker who loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnny McCormack of Dover. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Nelson, three children, Tiffany McDaniel, Laura Nelson, and Julia Nelson, as well as an honorary daughter, Cynthia Born. Melanie had one granddaughter, Teagan Grace McDaniel. She is also survived by 10 cousins, 3 aunts, and 1 uncle.
