Mattie Elizabeth Page, 93 of Dover, TN passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Diversicare of Dover. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Jackson Cemetery, Dover, TN with Bro. Steve Phillips and Bro. Aquila Penrod officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Inc. Dover, TN.
She was born May 20, 1922 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the William “Ferd” and Nancy Peppers. Mrs. Page was a member of Bethel Church of God, retired from Ely and Walker, a homemaker and attended Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Page, sons, Allen Page and Mack Allen Page, daughter, Jeanette Wallace, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Kay Crews (Freeman), Dover, TN, Gladys Thompson (Brent), Columbia, TN, Hazel Lindsey, Dover, TN, 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will family and friends.
