Mary Dorcas Walker, 91, Bumpus Mills, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Walking Horse Assisted Living, Clarksville, TN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 am at Brandon's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Bumpus Mills, TN with Rev. Paul Sitton officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Clarksville, TN at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2013 with Rev. Terry Welsh officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 4-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN. She was born July 28, 1921 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Lonnie Desmond Sanderson and Beulah Wallace Sanderson. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and a member of Brandon Chapel Freewill Baptist Church for over 70 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Walker, a sister, Julia Sanderson Griggs and a baby brother, Lonnie Desmond Sanderson, Jr. Survivors include her sister, Norma Byrd, Dover, TN; daughters, Janie (Ted) Haley, Clarksville, TN, Kathy (Henry) Romersa, Nashville, TN, Ellen (Mike) Amabile, Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Erica (Jason) Carter, Reagan (Russ) Womack, Craig (Lindsay) Amabile, Samantha Amabile and great grandchildren, Jasie Carter, Reed Womack and Riggs Womack. Pallbearers will be members of the Brandon Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Brandon's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church or parsonage.
