Mary Olean Mathis

Mary 'Olean' Mathis, age 71 of Dover, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Parker to officiate. Burial will be in the Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service Tuesday.
She was born, October 15, 1943 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Fred and Helen Cherry Dowdy. She was co-owner of Mathis Brothers Sawmill.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Larry Mathis. Survivors include her son, Charles Mathis (Kim), Dover, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Crutcher, James Mathis, Kurt Lusso, Adam Earhart, John March, and Jim Dowdy.
