Mary Melton

Ms. Mary G. Melton, age 87 of Dover, TN, passed away, Friday, June 19, 2020 at her home. She was born October 11, 1932 in Dover, TN, daughter of the late Manley and Lily Powers Jackson. Ms. Melton was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, JR Melton, and her brothers, Russell Jackson, JD Jackson, Earl Jackson, and Ronnie Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Joann Luffman (Dotson), son, Ronald Melton (Debbie), brother, Kenneth Jackson, special niece, Trish Bourland (Carl), grandchildren, Chris Luffman, Dustin Luffman, Sherry Cherry, Scott Melton, and Kimberly Wingate, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Anglin Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Shannon and Rev. Melvin Dunaway officiating. Burial will be in the Taylors Chapel Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service Monday.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Luffman, Chris Luffman, Scott Melton, Carl Bourland, Perry Robertson, and Dotson Luffman.
