Mary Hansard

Mary Lois Hansard, age 76 of Stewart, TN passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 7, 2026 with loving family by her side. She was born on April 7, 1950 the daughter of Jake and Lois Mitchell Brewer.

Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and will be missed by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Lois Mitchell Brewer; son, William T. Hansard; and sister, Laurel Creech.

Mary is survived by her loving husband to whom she married on November 18, 2001, David H. Hansard of Stewart, TN; son, Kem Stacey (Jennnifer) and David G. Hansard both of Dover, TN; daughter, Deena Miller of Dover, TN and Katherine Bayne of Manassas, VA; sisters, Beth Gould of St Simons Island, Ga and Lynn Simpson of Fitzgerald, GA; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In keeping with Mary's wishes, she will be cremated. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date and laid to rest at Hansard-Hart Cemetery.
