Visitation will be Saturday March 13, 2010 from 10-11:00 am at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Dover, TN. Eastern Star service will be at 11:00 am with a Memorial service to follow with Richard Conley officiating at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Dover, TN. Burial will be in the Wofford Cemetery, Dover, TN. She was born March 26, 1932 in Wichita Falls, TX daughter of the late Joseph and Tressa Amster. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star and attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Buckey and one brother. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Briggs, Dover; daughters, Vesta Beagles and Dot Sykes, both of Dover; caregiver, Sondra Cherry; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
