Mary Boone

Mary Gene Boone, age 71, of Indian Mound, TN passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, at her home. She was born January 9, 1945 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late George Ertle and Minola Lindsey Cook. Mrs. Boone was a cook at Cindy’s Catfish Kitchen and a member of the Carlisle Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Alford Boone, brothers, Fred Cook, Glenn Cook, George Cook, sisters, Margret Westerman, Helen Hodges, and Lillian Darlin. Survivors include her children, Russell Boone, Indian Mound, Sid Boone, Clarksville, TN, Jeannette Schoppa, Cape Girardeau , MO, Carol Yvonne Williams, Dover, TN, brothers, Bruce Cook, Dover, Ted Cook, Clarksville, Drewey Cook, Clarksville, Larry Cook, MI, sister, Opal Sentiff, Jackson, TN, eight grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Moore Cemetery with Rev. David Whitehead officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
