Mary Barrow

Mary Maxine Thornton Barrow, age 68, of Dover, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at her home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Douglas Barnes officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday, her remains are to be cremated. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born October 14, 1947 in Mississippi, daughter of the late Cutis D. Thornton and Maxine Wales Casaboda. Mary had a giving heart, she worked with Progressive Directions, Inc. and was a caregiver for many in her community.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marshall Barrow, Dover, children, Brian Duke, AR, Bert Duke (Wendy), Murfreesboro, TN, Tim Barrow (Penny), Dover, Michelle Garza (John), Dickson, TN, Sandi Meeks (Kyle), Indian Mound, TN, brothers, Dwyot Thornton (Brenda), Ashland City, TN, Roy Lee (Melissa), PA, Jay Thornton (Peggy), Murfreesboro, TN, sisters, Brenda Levin (Bill), Murfreesboro, TN, Patsy Tester (Ralph), AR, Irma Bendily (Jody), LA, Gail Newton (Larry), TN, Brother-in-law, Jimmy Barrow, Dover, grandchildren, Hunter French, Lezlee Daugherty, Anna Marie Duke, Spencer Barrow, Branden Dennis, Alexia Meeks, Teagan Meeks, Leslie Barrow, great grandchild, Cooper Daugherty, and caregiver, Heather Meeks.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Thornton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Samaritans of Dover or the Second Harvest Food Bank at the First Christian Church of Dover. The family respectfully requests no cemetery flowers.
