Martha Porter

Martha Porter, age 77 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Tennova Healthcare Hospital, Clarksville, TN with her loving family by her side. She was born in Dover, TN on February 26, 1946 the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Vivian Miller Page. Martha was a faithful servant and loved the Lord. She was an active member of Chestnut Grove Church of Christ, Dover, Tn. Martha loved being outside, farming and tending her gardens. She especially loved to go fishing. Her greatest joy was her children and family getting together at her home.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband; Lyle O’Neal Porter, son; Mickey Porter, brothers; Anderson Page, Larry Page and Daniel Page, sisters; Helen Borens and Mary Porter.

She is survived by her husband; Ronnie Porter, sons; Mark Porter and Dennis Porter both of Dover, TN, daughter; Amanda Porter of Dover, TN, brother; Joe Page of Dover, TN, and sister; Eva Cassidy of Dover, TN, grandchildren; Ryan Porter, Becky Porter, Lindsey Porter, Brittany Henderson, and Hannah Porter, and 3 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Chestnut Grove Church of Christ, Dover, TN with Bro Joe Page officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until the hour of the funeral service. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Church of Christ Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are Ryan Porter, Aaron Porter, Cody Henderson, Billy Page, Shane Page and Jesse Osteen. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Porter and Stacey Page.
