Martha Andrews

Ms. Martha Jane Andrews, age 79 of Dover, TN passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Houston County Community Hospital. She was born in Paris, TN on January 20, 1944 the beloved daughter of the late James Hoffman and Clella Mae Dougherty Hedges. Martha was a hard worker and dedicated to her work and those she served. She retired from Austin Peay State University and Workforce Essentials as a Computer Analyst. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother; James Bryant Hedges.

She leaves behind those that she loved dearly, sons; Thomas E. Andrews, III (Starr) of Dover, TN, James M. Andrews (Emily) of Dover, TN, grandsons; Tristan, Connor, William and Nathaniel Andrews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 beginning at 12:30 pm and continue until the celebration of life service at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of memorials, the family request that donations be made in memory of their mother to St. Jude’s or the charity of your choice.
