Marshall B. Taylor, Jr

Marshall Baxter Taylor Jr., age 67 of Clarksville, TN passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 3, 2026. He was born July 31, 1959 in Erin, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Baxter Taylor, his mother Carrie Gilmore and his brother, Ricky Taylor.

He is survived by his children, his daughter Miranda "Mandy" Taylor Barnes (Matt) of Woodlawn, TN and his son, Marshall "Davey" Taylor (Bri) of Clarksville, TN. He was also blessed with 4 grandchildren, Makenzie Wallace and Kendra Wallace of Woodlawn, TN and Marshall "Owen" Taylor and Millie Taylor of Clarksville, TN. He also leaves behind his sister Anita Taylor Duvall, step father Dale Gilmore, his nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Marshall was a graduate of Stewart County High School, class of 1977. Following graduation he joined the US Army. After his time in the military, he became a contractor for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, football, and cooking for his friends and family.

His remains will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held Friday, October 9th from 5-8pm at the BWC Clubhouse of Clarksville.
