Marlin Blane

Marlin K. Blane, 70, Dover, died Monday, February 8, 2010, at Manor House of Dover. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Epperson and Rev. Ronnie Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday and from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday at Anglin Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held 7:00 pm Thursday at Anglin He was born July 4, 1939 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Marvin West and Amy Elizabeth Knight Blane. Mr. Blane was retired from TVA, a U.S. Army Korea Veteran, Iron Mountain Lodge mason, and a baptist. Survivors include his sons, Marlin L. "Marty" Blane and Scotty Blane, both of Dover; brothers, Henry D. Blane and Max Blane, both of Dover; sisters, Marcene McGee, Murray, KY, Anna Faye Hale, Almo, KY, Margie Nelson, Clarksville, TN and three grandchildren, Prestley Lynn Blane, Bayleigh Elizabeth Blane and Tucker Scott Blane. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the Stewart Co. High School class of 1958.
