Marjorie Wallace

Mrs. Marjorie Agnes Wallace, age 90, of Granite City, IL, passed away, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL. She was born April 20, 1927, in Granite City, IL daughter of the late Allen “Buck” Thomason and Lockey Fitzhugh Thomason. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Lance Wallace and Joseph Andrew Wallace, brothers, Milford Thomason, Freeman Thomason, and Donald Ray Thomason, sisters, Sallie Newman, Maudie Doyle, Alene Robertson, and Getcie Parrish.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Curtis Wallace, Granite City, IL, son, Robert Lee Wallace (Nancy), Big Bear Lake, CA, brother, Eugene Thomason, Edwardsville, IL, sisters, Virginia Joiner, Dover, Nona Harris, Dover, and Marcella Doyle, Granite City, one grandchild and five great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Anglin Funeral Home, with Rev. David Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, April 9th at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
