Margie Wallace

Mrs. Margie Wallace, age 85, passed away on February 26, 2022, at AHC Clarksville, TN. She was born on Thursday, February, 25, in Dover, TN, daughter of Della Elizabeth Stafford, granddaughter of JF and Emma Liza Stafford. Mrs. Wallace was a loving wife, mother, memaw, and friend.

Mrs. Wallace's main passions were gospel music, cooking, and caring for others. She was never without three cakes in the freezer, just in case some one came by. She spent many evenings at different churches listening to her favorite gospel quartets. She is best known as a caring friend. She volunteered for many years at Manor House/Diversicare while tending to her mother and husband. She is lovingly referred to as Mammaw throughout the community.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Deloy Wallace and son-in-law, Dunning Cheatham.

She is survived by daughters Donna Wallace, Ft. Myers, FL, Ann Cheatham, Dover, TN; grandchildren Marcie Dodd, Dana Pulley, Lee Cheatham, and great grandson Preston Dodd.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Anglin Funeral Home followed by service at 1:00 pm with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Dana Pulley, Marcie Dodd, Lee Cheatham, Preston Dodd, Joe Pyland and Dr. David Cheatham.
