Margie Sykes

Margie Sykes, 81, Dover, TN passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 30, 2011 at 11:00 am at Mt. View Cemetery, Dover with Rev. Ronnie Burgess officiating. She was born January 28, 1930 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Roy and Hester Fitzhugh Lockwood. Mrs. Sykes was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Sykes. Survivors include her sons, Gene Sykes, Glendale, IL and Michael Sykes, Spartanburg, SC; brother, Bernard Lockwood, Nashville, TN; sisters, Agnes Randant, Dover, TN, Opal Dale, Buchanan, TN; grandchildren, Brian Sykes, Terry Lee Sykes, Regina Sykes and four great grandchildren.
