Margie Nash

Mrs. Margie Taylor Nash, age 100 of Dover, TN passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Dover Care Center. Born on July 5, 1924 the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Ella Melton Taylor.

Margie was a gifted seamstress, known for her intricate, hand-stitched creations, which she lovingly shared with family and friends. Her culinary skills were equally exceptional; she had a unique talent for preparing meals that delighted everyone fortunate enough to enjoy them. Above all, Margie was a devoted servant of her faith. For decades, she led the congregational singing at her church, enriching the spiritual lives of many. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Margie's love and dedication left an enduring mark. Her memory will forever live on through the lives of her family and all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Otis C. Nash; brother, Glenn Taylor; sisters, Geneva Myers, Mildred Dennis, Jane Crockarell.

She leaves behind her loving family, son, Darrell Nash (LeaAnne); daughter, Deborah Nash Wofford (Dr. B.E. “Eugene)” Wofford; sister, Norma Keever; grandchildren, Jon Wofford, Jeff Wofford, Brian Nash and Jeremy Nash; and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Taylor Cemetery, Big Rock, TN with Bro. William Gray officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
