Margaret Luffman

Mrs. Margaret Luffman, age 83, of Erin, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 22, 1941, in Granite City, IL, the daughter of the late Denver and Ida Zimmer Mercer.

Margaret worked as a beautician, always dedicated to ensuring her clients looked and felt their best. She was a devoted mother who found great joy in having her family gathered together. Margaret had a deep love for nature, especially bird watching, and found beauty and inspiration in the majestic flight of the American Bald Eagle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harlon B. Luffman; her brothers, Wayne Mercer and Lynn Mercer; and her sister, Pam Mercer.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Darla Herring (Chet); her grandson, Alan Herring (Heather); her sister, Helen Barnd (Basil); and her brothers, Dennis Mercer (Debbie) and Glenn Mercer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home.
