Madelyn Ball Hicks, 76 of Gallatin, TN passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Gallatin Nursing Home. She was born May 8, 1941 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Johnny Garner Ball and Eufowler Cothran Ball. Mrs. Hicks was retired from Sumner Regional Hospital and was a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Wallace, and sisters, Regina Terry, Joyce Suiter and Merle Parker. Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Rittenberry, Gallatin, TN, Tammy Austin, Gallatin, TN, brother, Earl Ray Ball, Clarksville, TN, grandchildren, Jonathan Graham, Jason Rose, Joshua Rittenberry, Regina Austin, Chris Hasting, Misty Wallace, several great grandchildren, and special friends, Linda Grimsley, Jamie Rigsby and Helen Lanius.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. David Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in the Austin Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
