Lura Pierce

Ms. Lura Violet Pierce, age 79 of Dover, TN, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville. She was born December 18, 1941 in Morgan, KY, daughter of the late James Wesley and Mary Fanny Sheets Coffey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Cortis Coffey, Earnest Coffey, Johnny Coffey, Jessie Coffey and sisters, Nordella Collins and Lula Rose Johnson.
She is survived by her beloved children, Lori Lynn Varner, Oxford, MS, Clifford Joe Pierce, GA; sister, Maryree Jackson, Dover, TN grandchildren, Ray and Dalton Sizemore, three step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Wofford Cemetery, Dover, TN. Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
