Lucille Sykes

Lucille Mildred Sykes, 86 of Paris, TN formerly of Dover, TN passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Henry Co. Medical Center. She was born January 10, 1930 in Kankakee, IL daughter of the late Waldemer and Hulda Vining Meyers. Mrs. Sykes was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Allen H. Sykes; 1 brother, Oscar Meyers; 1 sister, Augusta Carlson; and 2 grandsons: Jared Flanders Lambert of Dover, TN, and Larry Travis Hamilton of Du Quoin, Illinois. Survivors include 1 brother; Everett Meyers of Bradley, Illinois; her children: Allen Leo Lambert of Palmyra, IN; Gary Wayne Lambert (Nancy) of Cape Girardeau, MO; Rodney David Lambert (Marlene) of Dover, TN; Renetta Rose Hill (Babe) of Du Quoin, IL; Noreen Aldia Melton (Randy) of McKee, KY; Yvette Cecelia Friedley (Wayne) of Dover, TN; 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
