Lovie Woods

Lovie Laverne Woods, age 74 of Dover, Tn was called home to be with the Lord April 16, 2022 at her residence with her loved ones by her side. She was born January 14, 1948 the beloved daughter of the late Harold Edgar and Willie Olene Woods. Lovie was a loving, caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend who shared many memories with her family and caregivers through the Progressive Directions, Inc. of Dover, TN. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dover, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, June Atkins and brother, Richard Woods.
She is survived by her brother, Albert Ray Woods of Tennessee Ridge, TN and many loyal friends through the PDI program of Dover, TN, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery, Big Rock, TN with Bro. William Gray officiating. Those serving as pallbearers are Ray Woods, Richard Woods, Brandon Woods, Randy Taylor, Austin Terrell and Andy Fraker.
