Lottie Lewis

Lottie Jewell Lewis, age 93, of Dover, passed away, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at her home. She was born October 2, 1924 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Monroe and Sulia Wallace Williams. Lottie Jewell was a member of the Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She loved life, she loved people, and she would help anyone.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Lewis, two sons, Eddie Earhart and Bracie Earhart, brothers, E.D. Williams, Lonnie Williams, Brady Williams, Raymond Williams, sisters, Louise Wallace, Helen Williams, Rosie Morgan-Ross, Eva Ronto, and Elvie Harrison.

Survivors include her son, Arthur Monroe Lewis, Dover, eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Sunday at the Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Philips officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service Sunday at the church. Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
