Lonnie Penrod

Lonnie Christopher Penrod, age 23, of Thibodaux, LA, formerly of Indian Mound, TN, passed away, Friday, January 25, 2013 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. The funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. George Miller and Rev. Roy Johnson to officiate. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.He was born March 4, 1989 in Nashville, TN, son of Lonnie Dale and Cynthia Black Penrod. Mr. Penrod was a graduate of Stewart County High School and attended the First Baptist Church of Raceland, LA, and formerly attended the First Baptist Church of Dover and Cross Creek Baptist Church, Indian Mound, TN. He is survived by his wife, Erin Porche Penrod, Thibodaux, LA, daughter, Sara Maxine Penrod, Thibodaux, LA, parents, Lonnie and Cynthia Penrod, Indian Mound, sister, Ecaterina Lynn Penrod, Indian Mound, grandmother, Florence Penrod, Dover. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lonnie Jack Penrod and maternal grandparents Duane and Sarah Black.
