Mrs. Lois May Wallace, age 95, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.
Born March 19, 1931, in Stewart County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Mavis Gregory. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Wallace; her son, Danny Wallace; her daughter, Marion Wallace; and her siblings, Ardale, Elmer Ray, Wesley, Virgil, Ralph, Eva, and Eunice.
Mrs. Wallace will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, a gifted storyteller, and a woman of unwavering strength and faith. She loved her family deeply, worked tirelessly throughout her life, and was always ready to lend a listening ear with kindness and discretion. Her strong Christian faith was a guiding light to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Harris (Jim), Michael Wallace (Peggy), Rex Wallace (Rita), Terry Wallace (Jennifer), and Luke Wallace (Tammy); along with 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Hobert Wallace Cemetery, Tosha Lane in Big Rock, Tennessee, with Bro. David Whitehead and Mikey Wallace officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brian Harris, Gunner Harris, Weston Wallace, Hayden Wallace, Gavin Bryant, and Adam Wallace. Honorary will be Mike Wallace and Marty Wallace.
