Mr. Lloyd "Sonny" Webb went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 20, 1937, the beloved son of William Earnest and Ruby Seay Webb.
Mr. Sonny was a faithful servant of the Lord and a devoted member of Dunbar Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. He humbly served as a Decan, song leader, superintendent, treasurer and was willing to serve in any capacity he was asked to serve in. He centered his life and family around his faith, always striving to serve the Lord. Sonny and his wife, Frances, made their home in Indian Mound, where they lovingly raised their four children. He cherished time spent with his family, especially gathering to share stories and create lasting memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed visits from his nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Sonny enjoyed spending his spare time fishing, listening to gospel and bluegrass music, and watching his grandchildren play in the front yard. He was a dedicated and loyal employee of Trane Company for approximately 10 years. Over the course of his career, he devoted many years to his work and was a proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 572, where he remained until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Frances Turner Webb; his children, Donna Tyson, Danny Webb (Diane), Kimberly Hargis (Albert) and Deana Keel (Eugene); grandchildren, Charity Harville, Blake Tyson (Katie), David Webb (Rosha), Jessica Lucio, Curtis Webb, Chase Webb, Lee Hargis (Laci), Kevin Hargis (Elizabeth), Hillary Story (Ashton), Tiffany Waters (Jeremy) and Mitchell Keel (Kalynn); 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Webb (Kathy); sisters, Margaret Ann Parker and Sylvia Vincent; sister-in-law June Webb and Betty Webb.
