Linda Stevenson

Mrs. Linda Sue Stevenson, age 69, a resident of Dover, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. She was born on May 5, 1955, in Fort Sill, OK, to the late George W. "Bill" Welch and Dorothy Loraine River Welch.

A devoted patriot, Mrs. Stevenson spent her early years as a "military brat" before marrying an Army serviceman. She dedicated 25 years of service to the Civil Service at Fort Campbell. A passionate lover of nature, she enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, and boating.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George W. Welch, II.

Mrs. Stevenson is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Rex Stevenson; her son, Jason Stevenson; grandsons, Gavin Eric Richardson Stevenson and Thelan Layne Krupicka; her sister, Renee Frosbutter (Stan); her sister-in-law, Terri Welch; and several nieces and nephews.

At this time, no services are planned. Upon the passing of her husband, Mrs. Stevenson will be interred alongside him at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
