Linda Pieratt, age 77, of Indian Mound, TN, went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born on June 14, 1948, the beloved daughter of George and Nana Turner Leis.
Linda was a faithful servant who loved the Lord deeply and poured her heart into sharing the gospel. She was dedicated to her church family at Mosaic of Stewart County, where she served joyfully in many roles, including church secretary and teacher, and volunteered wherever a helping hand was needed. She especially cherished her time teaching the Nursery and Pre-K children's classes. Her greatest passion was helping plant seeds of faith in young hearts, believing that a child's early years were a precious time for the Lord's work to grow and flourish.
Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and was a loyal friend to many. Her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
She was also dedicated to her work in Property Management. Linda took great pride in helping families find a safe and happy place to call home.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon Pieratt; brothers, Milford Leis and James Leis; grandsons, Brian Pieratt, Jr., Justin Pieratt and Adam Pieratt.
Linda leaves behind her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Betty Pieratt; sisters, Barbara Clark (Gerald) and Debbie Marsh (Rick); grandchildren, Heather Curry (Jeremy), George Pieratt (Sabrina), Noah Pieratt and Christian Pieratt; great grandchildren, Hanna Pieratt, Amy Pieratt, and Gracelynn Pieratt; great-great granddaughter, Alice Myers.
A visitation will be held at the Mosaic Church of Stewart County on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 beginning at 11:00 am, continuing until the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Bro. Shawn Daley officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
