Lillie Keel

Lillie Mae Keel, 85 of Dover, TN passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Tennova Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1931 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late William E. and Ruby Mae Brandon Mathis. Mrs. Keel retired from Acme Boot Co. and the Little Big Dollar Store and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Clayton Keel and brothers, Orban Mathis and Edison Mathis. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Keel, Dover, TN, David “Beaver” Keel, Dover, TN, brother, Brandon Mathis, Mt. Olive, IL, grandchildren, James Keel, Lara Pellum, Lisa Potter, David Clemensen, Cole Taylor, Ava Pellum, Kierra Taylor and Jude Potter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. David Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in the Heflin Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 5-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
